Introducing the Mini Tournament 2025!

This is designed for those who prefer a slightly slower pace of play and a bit more flexibility in scheduling.

The Mini Tournament will follow these guidelines:

  • We need an even number of participants, with a minimum of four players. Depending on the final number, the format will either be round-robin or randomly generated pairings.
  • Each participant plays three scenarios during the weekend. These scenarios will be announced at the same time as the main tournament’s Rounds 1, 2, and 3.
  • The Mini Tournament schedule aligns with the main tournament’s Round 1 (Friday lunch), Round 3 (Saturday morning), and Round 5 (Sunday).
  • The playing schedule will be presented together with Round 1.
  • Players may agree with their opponents to play at other times than the suggested ones. For example, you may decide to start Round 3 on Saturday evening and finish on Sunday. Please inform the Tournament Director if you deviate from the official schedule.

To register for the Mini, simply check this option on your registration form. Please note that there is also an option “Can play in the Mini if needed.” This means you may be placed in the Mini if there is an uneven number of players or if additional participants are required. In any case, you will always have the final say before the tournament begins.
